As someone who will admit to not being that excited for this movie at first. I have to say the ten rings as a weapon is such a great concept. The way they can be used in so many styles whether it be whips, blasts or even just powerful kicks it so cool. This phase of marvel has been mid but this definitely stands out as one of the gems

Making the Ten Rings from literal rings working similarly to infinity stones into actual armlets was a genius idea. It added so much to the choreography.

Wenwu is just so damn proficient with those rings. Not surprising since he has been using those for centuries. He thinks of all sorts of weapons and combinations to tackle the situation. Amazing combat.

Wenwu's ten-ring color is cooler than shangchi's ten-ring color. shangchi's ten-ring has the feeling of a flame, and Wenwu's Tenring has the feeling of lightning, but lightning is more visually wonderful. It feels like a high-tech material.

This actor and character is awesome,the backstory,the rings and his fighting experience. Its kinda suck how they killed him in the first movie he debut with little screen time also. Hope we can see more of him in Shang Chi 2 even as a cameo or flashback.

Honestly in my opinion, no one can use the 10 rings better than Xu Wenwu... look at shang chi using the rings... he hardly could use them like his father and look at the first battle of Wenwu... the way he throws the rings and destroys enemies and breaks the gate in a single line.... Wenwu is so far one of the most powerful characters in the mcu... honestly he deserved more screentime... I hope the mcu makes a movie about him

The rings are powerful yes. But I vote for that 2:09 “shift” as the most badass movement.
