Guys chill, Karan Thapar is doing his job of interviewing Shashi Tharoor in an interrogative manner. It doesn't mean he is not aware of the facts or believes the British was good for India. He would make a good defense lawyer perhaps. Just doing his job... Actually any foreigner watching this interview will consider this more credible than an interview conducting by a biased interviewer who only agrees and does not question.
-
Never seen Thapar this humble after an interview. Never seen Tharoor this excited and alert in an interview. Both of them bought best of each other in front. However, this interview proved Tharoor is a genius, one of a kind.
-
Shashi tharoor is the only one who seemed confident in front of karan thapar😂
-
This is called a "balanced interview". Only like how Thapar can do it! #ThaparMeetsTharoor
-
I m surprised why people are abusing Karan here. It's critical to take opposite stance in an one on one interview to bring the other person's views to the surface. Use your brains if you have any

An unstoppable force hits an immovable object🔥🔥🔥
-
Happy to hear about Indian Railways in this interview.
-
Intellectual riffing, when done right, is an absolute delight. Hey, that rhymed!
-
Why hasn't Ghandi died yet? How cruel Churchill is?
-
Great personality dr.tharoor I want to see him as pm of India...
-
The second half is interesting, this journalist is good. really good.
-
Despite being an ardent BJP Supporter, I truly admire the confidence and impeccable communication skills of Mr. Tharoor. His persona could even feel elite inferior to themselves. On the funnier site, If in future, he ever got to be nominated as next PM, then apart from Parties Manifesto, Oxford Dictionary will also be provided to understand his speech.
-
What an illuminating interview !! Thank you so much
-
One Oxford dictionary Vs the another Oxford Dictionary. Shashi Tharoor Sir is outstanding. 😃😃
-
Wow.... that's a real journalist....great interview
-
Both r Certainly hugely Learned personalities....

Dr Tharoor has proved his metal Karan Thappar may be the best ever interviewer in India. Now and then we should have such illuminating luxuries. Dr Tharoor has brought out very well the harm the British Raj has done to India. It seems that the positive contributions of British rule have to be further analysed and studied by Dr Tharoor as Thappar has provoked during the interview We are greatly privileged by these great erudite minds

Great debate - grand old Indian style. Shashi has brought a much needed discussion among Indians and very refreshing view points regarding the famine in Bengal to many people who were not aware of such atrocities committed by Sr. Churchill. Fortunately for the people in Kerala (s. India) did not suffer any major famine, during British rule. In-fact the Christians in South Kerala were excused from direct British rule and were ruled thru a puppet Hindu king of Travencore.
