I love anything Boro and this project is just perfect to use up scraps. Such a great idea for memory scraps too, just like you did with your grandma's pyjamas. Thank you for sharing 🥰

Love this, and how sweet to use your Nans pjs. I’m sure your Mom will love it. New subscriber.❤

To back my slow stitch projects I use leftover batting pieces. It makes a softer piece. Good video though Rachel.

Nice watching a speeded up video as I make these anyway. Always good to see someone else making similar. Thankyou.

I was pondering how to make a closure, this 2 button one with the ties is perfect for my pouch I made. I was gonna use snap fasteners, which I'm not keen on. Love how this 2 button closure looks.

What a lovely project! You make it sound very easy to do. I love the individuality of the pouch—I can think of many meaningful scraps I have that would be excellent for this technique. Thank you!

I love this, very much(the make of the bag and the fabric choices/colors)!🤗👝
  • This is so sweet I am really interested in boro and sashiko and this simple little project is a fantastic way to get started. I love the way you saved the scraps of fabric by color, and then showed the way you selected the patches and how it you put it together. Using the special PJ fabric from your grandmother's pajamas will make it so memorable and special for your mother. Nicely done! I'm inspired to maybe give it a try.
