Let's Sausage ! 1840s Sausage Stuffer Restoration

Published 2024-07-13
In this Restoration Video I restored an Antique Sausage Stuffer which was made around the 1840s. Is registered : " Boston & Worcester " and " Nourse Mason & Co. " .
Being a sausage stuffer of almost 200 years old , I can assure you that the restoration was very challenging .
It's a long restoration video, so I divided the video into mini chapters, and in each chapter you can learn new things about the restoration field.
After the restoration , the sausage stuffer was tested. I made some delicious sausages and I also cooked them.
Enjoy the restoration video and I hope you like the sausage stuffer !
Cheers , David !

I have virtually no skills in his range yet I appreciate the dedication to his craft and the detail of his solutions. Love the no talking, no background music, no nonsense attitude. Just focus on the process and the outcome. The result as always is very flattering to the original design. Great job! 👍
  • Mate, I'll probably keep saiyng it at every video that yours is one of the best restoration channels, there are lots of channels where they strech the lengh of the videos wasting times and adding useless steps, but you are staright forward, no waste of time, just great restorations. And PLUS u are using a Moretti with those sausages??? U desereve a gold metal Pal, keep going with your great job. Love it.

You did a fabulous job. Loved the close-ups of the copper turning. Great end result, and the sausages looked so good!
  • The amount of tools, knowledge, and experience required to expertly restore items like this is incredible! Fantastic video, thanks for sharing.

Thank you sir for another amazing Restoration. Watching the roller bend the copper sheet reminded me of making pasta for lasagne. Thankfully, copper can be resold. Hard to watch a giant tube of copper turned into a hollow tube. ps: the sausages looked amazing. I hope you hold onto that sausage stuffer as you will be the hit of the next backyard grilling party. Thank you again for always taking us along with you as you restore interesting historical items.

Truly a work of art. This plays less as a restoration video and more of a documentary. Your camera and editing work is fantastic

I've probably watched 18 Zillion restoration videos on YouTube.... This is the best one I've seen yet.
  • Igaz, hogy ez csak egy egyszerű, alapvető munka, de a felújítás nagyon igényes, gyönyörű, minőségi megoldásokkal! A szakértelem / anyagismeret kiemelkedő! Nagyon precíz kezeid vannak! ! ! Sajnos nagyon kevés ilyen alkotás látható.
