This is my car and I'm sooooo happy to get it done! It is not a drag racer, this is going to be my track day car and maybe take it to some vintage races, so 250 smooth HP is just perfect. Brent did exactly what I asked for and I'm super happy!
  • Sho nuff lets go 🤘🏻please make a go fund me we want you to rip that car Brent you deserve it

The 1g 4g63 was the engine i first learned on n also d16s. Fun stuff back in the day.
  • Love me some DSM. I'm in the process of buying a 91 Stealth RT AWD. It's been sitting in a machine shed for 15 years...
  • Man glad to see you giving some love to the DSMs! Makes me finish my build!
  • @chrissdsm
Man guys that’s my jam right there… more of the dsm more!

I had a 1G back in the day! Red, GSX with a bunch of Buschur parts on it, turbo, exhaust, intercooler pipes, Greddy Profec etc… such a fun car.

Og tuner right here, back in the day the dsm 440 injectors were Honda boys favorites
  • @pFbSpecV
Solid reminder bigger turbo, injectors, and a nice tune these engines do mid 400s all day!
  • I’ve had modded and stock 1G DSMs and they are so addicting to have either way. I loved my bone stock ‘90 talon TSi AWD. Such a fun and legendary car.
  • To be honest it is my dream to have an engine built by Shane and tuned by Brent and Jamie. Hopefully one day. You guys rock! 🤙🤙 Happy new year everyone!

Love the DSM. Still have my same email from 20 years ago. Actually had to call tech support at my job gave the guy my email and he said diamond star motors. Boy we talked about dsms for 20 minutes love it.
  • I've noticed with ECMlink the injector voltage data that is given on the injector build sheets doesn't work too well because of the injector drivers used. For example, if I used FIC injector data per volt for my 750cc, I would end up with a global scaled to roughly 550cc and as you can guess, in closed loop it goes EXTREMELY rich. So I end up scaling the injectors for 650 or so and bump the global deadtime up until I can get the fuel trims to stabilize at +/- 5% then I add that deadtime to the injector voltage offset tab in direct access and zero out the global deadtime in the fuel tab. The cool thing about ecmlink is you can drive around in closed loop while logging and when you're done, you can right click on your data log screen and choose to adjust the hz for maf or ve for SD table based on combined fuel trim. This really helps get that cruise dialed in, especially after dyno tuning in real world environments.
