  • Thx, I had never heard about this. Cowards kill unarmed ppl, yet some ppl still teach this ideology to their kids. Frustrating
  • As a resident from Orangeburg SC I advised every Orangeburg native to educate your kids on this history the schools in south Carolina should make this mandatory knowledge and history for public schools across the nation
  • I've been to Orangeburg SC, the resident that I know for almost 50 years, has never mentioned this tragic injustice. Stop the silence about racism, it didn't die. Racism, hatred and bigotry is not silent it KILLS victims daily. May God have mercy on innocent, killed by racist extremist.
  • 1968 was a traumatic year in so many ways and this was one most egregious crimes perpetrated by southern racists. This and many other events like it should be taught in school and never forgotten.
  • Rip to the young men and I'm born in '68 and just learning about this horrible story 😭😭😭😭😭
  • It's revealing that this was never taught in American History in schools.
  • I appreciate your bringing this to light. Many remember Kent State, but this got very little coverage. So many lost for civil rights.
  • I had never heard of this before today , I wonder why this never was heard of before. So shameful AMERIKKKA
  • @sabi8381
One of the most shameful parts of American history 😔
  • Thank you sharing this and all of the other informative reports that you publicize. I have never heard of this atrocity before today.
  • They also built a freeway over black home owners land in Orangeburg, SC. I find what they do to black people beyond disgusting.
  • @CALetty23
My goodness - this is the first I've EVER heard of this. Breaks my heart!
  • Had no idea about this incident. I was a teen during Kent State shootings. It was shocking that people were shot on their campus by National Guard. I could not wrap my head around that. This is equally shocking because of the similarity but also that I and I assume many, many others were not aware of this incident.
  • @Spiritfba
Racism is growing up in South Carolina and never being taught this.
