I always like to think that Paimon isn't real, she is just Lumine/Aether's way of coping with the dissapearance of their sibling and everyone's just being nice. Like, Aether introduces himself and Paimon to Jean and she is like "What?" then Amber quickly hits her with her elbow and whispers "Just say hi!"

I find it's really weird how Paimon is supposed to be 'our' tour guide but noone in teyvat knows her and they just call her 'floating creature' or smth sometimes I feel like it's more "Paimon follows us" than "We follow Paimon"
