  • Its easy not to get hypnotized, you want to get hypnotized to get hypnotized, coming from someone who was hypnotized it was real
  • @UbiquitousSolo
Hypnotism is very real, and the best subjects are imaginative and intelligent - not stupid and weak.  Being a good hypnotic subject is a sign that you are creative, intelligent, and willing to explore your own mind.

Hypnosis is about your mind being overloaded and being a willing subject. The hypnotist begins by giving the subject instructions on where to stand, etc., which gets him used to following instructions and being compliant. The trance has already begun at that point. His mind is open. By the way, the smarter/more intelligent you are, the more skeptical you are, the easier to put you in trance. Your disbelief just contributes to overloading the mind with input, creating the state of anxiety, which drops you into a trance, which is an escape mechanism.

1:37 "Every move you make Every bond you break Every step you take I'll be watching you" LOL
  • I can’t believe that it’s about to be 10 years since I’ve watched and learned from this video.

Hey guys! A lot of you have been asking me to teach you EXACTLY how I hypnotize so powerfully and quickly every time. Well, if you're serious about learning... check this out! academy.lionism.tv
  • You hypnotize by having the person simultaneously switch between sides of the brain. First asks him about a critical thinking question then he makes him focus on his right hand, other side of the brain

hypnosis has nothing to do with how mentally strong you are. In fact the smarter you are better imagination you have the easier it is for you tpo enter trance. the hypnotist is only guiding him, all the power comes from the other guys mind.

It's kinda sad that so many people still believe that hypnosis is fake. I'm learning it and already tried it and it worked, it was amazing. Another thing is that hypnosis is not a competition like my mind vs your mind, is more like a cooperation between the subject and the hypnotist to make it work.

There is a cascade of people all crying fake! Its real and this gentleman knows this induction inside out. Hes not spent ten minutes learning a technique and then wondering why it doesn't work. Hes spent a lot of time studying and practicing to make this look effortless. and for those that think being mentally strong will prevent you from being hypnotised are missing the concept. being mentally strong has no significance. the only thing the hypnotist has to do, is make you want to be hypnotised. its a call for persuasion or initiation, which has to be done prior to the hypnosis.
  • David, please help me out, i wanna hypnosize my sister, to remove all her worries, past miserable expereinve as she is going through pain. please .
  • I know this is a older video, but I just think your style is wonderful. One of my favorite hypnotists on youtube for sure.

This is very much real. His way of induction is the long handshake in the beginning. Normally, a handshake lasts for about 5 seconds or so, but David here held on to the guy's hand for a long time. The mind of the other guy is subconsciously thinking that something is wrong since the handshake is taking so long, plus the constant info that David is telling the other guy. All that leads to the other guy's mind to be over occupied. Much like how a computer slows down when you open too many programs or apps. The guy now slowly becomes submissive to the suggestions of David. Also, the hand slowly getting near the face is how David made the guy to close his eyes. I've studied some basic hypnosis and I want to get good at it to help people. And by far based on what I have studied, I can see that David is not fake. This was not staged at all. I was actually smiling all throughout the video because I recognized all the techniques that he used. From the handshake, to the hand thing, to the snapping of the fingers, and the way he talks.
  • @TracksToRelax
Pretty nice demonstration of the handshake induction. Obviously some imagination "testing" was done prior to what's shown here and this subject had a good ability to use his imagination.  Nicely done.

Hypnotism is not fake :) howie just got hypnotized from americas got talent.. :) it is true.. It depends on your mind..
  • @seoulsista392
I realized today that this is VERY real. i used to be skeptical about it but i finally decided to test it out after watching my friend get hypnotized. The only catch is, for people like me who find it difficult to empty my mind, it is EXTREMELY hard for me to fall under (most times i just get sleepy). I've still been unable to get hypnotized, but i came really close to it when I tried it today. I started feeling extremely dizzy and i felt like i was leaving my body, but then i freaked out and snapped out of it. I havent been able to get back to that since then. you just have to be REALLY good at concentrating
