it’s so sad how victims of bullying get punished for standing up for themselves and not the actual bullies for their behavior.

If the bullies were the ones who actually caused his injury, they need to be prosecuted for assault. It’s nice that he got back on track, but there’s no justice if those boys actually put him in that situation.

Honestly, its pretty cool how he stood up for himself and his friend who was getting bullied for torn shoes.

Something exactly like this happened in my school. A bully disabled a friend in another class and he got suspended. Remember everyone, you never know what someone is going through.

Dhar, you have a HUGE responsibility to do the right thing if you make a part 2 to this - which you SHOULD. I see many wanting Dominic to be suspended from school for paralyzing Khalil. No. Not good enough. You see, Dom needs to be taken to court and get a few years in prison for malicious and intentional paralyzation of Khalil. That's how real life would go and Dhar, you really should NOT shy away from going that route with this. No amount of the usual apology and "'ah I forgive you.' and now they're friends" should be in any part 2 of this IMHO. I know you strive to teach lessons, Dhar, so you need to REALLY teach it for this one. What happened to Khalil via that bully has to be the worst thing I've seen happen to any character in a skit. There's a huge lesson and warning to be shown here. AKA 'Actions have consequences and there are many to where your freedom WILL be taken from you. No amount of regret can change it.'

this is so sadly true. When someone bullies someone, the teachers dont care and dont do anything, but when the person getting bullied stands up for himself, suddenly theres a problem.
