Mein Gott! A 22 in 3-ft surf in LI Sound was just kid stuff compared to this. In 1964 I automated N. LI lighthouses: Gt. Captains, Greens Reef, etc.

Were you on another vessel or shooting from the shore?
-
How do these boats compare to the latest classes of RNLI AW lifeboats?

Does everyone participate in surf training?

I get sea sick every time I watch these types of video’s. Should come with a health warning.
