Pity to cover up the fireplace. A fireplace in the dining room would have been lovely! And the stonework of the fireplace was a warm echo of the stone of the exterior. Also, why say you want the addition to be nice & bright with natural light, & then cover up a bedroom window with a huge headboard?? Silly.

I don't get why fireplaces have to go. I always thought that a fireplace was a big plus. SMH.

The house looks beautiful, but WHY did Hilary put the Mom's bed in front of the window??? I will not ever understand why they think that looks good!

I wish Hilary could have done the design for our renovations on our senior apts. The only thing that is senior friendly in the entire apt . is the walk in shower.
