Personally, I would build a personal brand on YouTube first and from there on, it is going to be easy to start a show or a podcast, because people already know who you are and what value you bring to the table.
  • @JWestie85
“We celebrate in the victories too much and wallow in the defeats too much... tomorrow is another at bat.“ THAT... was good.
  • "Instead of growing more oranges, squeeze more juice out of one orange"... JUST LOVE THIS!!! This is what I needed to hear today. Thanks Sean for this great video once again. I am applying your advice to grow my channel on Time Management, and I feel more and more confident about the true value I provide to my audience. Thanks you so much!
  • @ThinkMediaTV
Thanks Jay for sharing your wisdom with our community!
  • Yes we do. 2 episodes each week. Monday’s are our feature video....either RV gear reviews/tutorials or travel and our Thursday episodes are more personal Midweek Updates.
  • @Kimodua
I never thought of videos as TV shows. This is great advise, I mostly post randomly. Now I am trying to be more consistently. I am focusing on How to Draw videos mainly Pokémon for now
  • @PeacefulPlay
Love to hear Jay's take on doing shows and being consistent with content. Great stuff!
  • Great advice! I started my own daily show last week and I will definitely be taking notes from you guys! The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step!
  • @techdevicenews
This does actually work. At the beginning of the year I started a show called time for tech and 5 months later, those are still one of my best videos analytics wise.
  • @joca3632
That strategy will help with my workout channel.
  • @trevorleon2
sean because of you i just gained 108 subscribers when i had 8 subslast months.May god bless you.
  • Super helpful and clean video!! Very excited about the things I learned. Love Jay as well! Question of the day, YES! I have been planning on making a show for years , haven’t because I know there is a formula for success, I just didn’t know it. This is one step closer. What’s it about? Removing the unnecessary barriers WE place around ourselves, and unifying us as human beings. Talking through the challenging and uncomfortable topics that keep the world divided. Love and togetherness are possible! I believe I can move the needle no matter how strong the opposition is.
  • @LXavierTV
Great information. Must have a TV channel mentality.
  • I was doing a live daily show that was increasing my subs at a pace I was happy with - however I only made it to 700 before YouTube changed it’s policy (relatively recently) and took away mobile live show capability until one has 1,000 subs. Now I’m working to translate the “show” vibe into produced videos.
  • @GoGroomer
Yes I have a show that I launched on my channel in January 2019. It’s called”live from the Grooming Table” and it airs every Monday at 5:30 PM Eastern standard time. This is additional content that my audience can rely on and has proven to be a hit with them 🥰 Loved your guest today he’s pretty awesome! Cheers👊🏼
  • @JWestie85
Hey, thanks for steering us away from the almost-never-successful “random acts of content“ strategy… between your book, “YouTube Secrets“ that I’m reading now, and this, I’m starting to get a centralized vision for what I want my channel to become.
  • @mdmkoo
Awesome! Thank you guys, always such good content!
