The episode Bunyip and the Boomeroo from the Australian cartoon Bunyip, as shown on CBBC (after Playdays). A bit of the CBBC outro, too! Created by Anne Jolliffe as part of Jollification Sydney, from 1987. Looks like this was broadcast around Christmas time, though I'm not sure of the exact year.
