I am a retired American came to the Philippines 14 years ago.I find it very pleasant and enjoyable here at 82 living totally on my SS each month it is a good life. Everything is so much cheaper here and there is nothing missing from what I found in the US, rnt so cheap, medical, food, transportation all so much less expensive. People very nice most speak good english, what more could a person ask for. MKL

Great story and very well done, superb documentary. Poor Roger, how much injustice was done to this brave man. May he be now where there is something more valuable than gold. Hope some day we all know the truth about the missing treasure.

A friend of mine had a mini sub in the late 80's and was hired by the Philippines to find a Japanese ship that had been sunk while transporting gold. He found potential wrecks and then Marcos pulled all finances so he had to leave the sub and went bankrupt, he never really got out of the funk and died a few years later...
