Middle earth: Shadow of war is a great example of Conquering because you literally take over regions. Fantastic open-world game with tons to do and with the expansion pack it's even better

Open world games with conquer mechanics have been one of my favourite genres
  • The saboteur was one of my favourite games on PS3, it had a certain charm about it and the black and white filter when in an occupied area is still such a unique idea. A rough diamond but certainly a hidden gem.

Bannerlord is actually fully out on steam since Oct. 25 and for anyone that interested in playing the game, be sure to check out the mods for the game. The mods bring in huge overhauls to the game, making it 10x better. Since the game has came out recently, lot's of big mods for game are still in development so you guys might have to wait for a bit. But even then, the base game is fun already.

10: Satisfactory 9: Dying Light 2 8: Red Faction: Guerilla 7: Dragon Quest Builders 2 6: Overlord 2 5: State of Decay 2 4: Viking: Battle for Asgard 3: Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories 2: The Saboteur 1: Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord
  • Yes Godfather 1 and 2. You really felt like the Don once you took out a rival family. But damn until you did they just never stopped hitting your turf.

I absolutely love how for satisfactory when falcon says "look at the massive bases you can build" they show Josh's (let's game it out) abomination of a world 😂😂

The Saboteur is likely one of the most underrated games of all time. The style alone made me fall in love with it. The freedom you have in movement with its free-flowing parkour, not scripted like something like the Batman games, the stealth that works surprisingly well, and the destruction was so much fun back in the day. I still go back and play that game every two years or so, still feels good.

Viking: Battle For Asgard was one of my favorites when I was a teenager. I've gone back to it recently and it definitely still holds up

The turf wars in GTA: San Andreas was the first game that came to mind when seeing the title of the video, but the video is about wayyyy more than just turf wars. Great list, as always! We ❤️ you guys at Gameranx!
  • @JRMurdock99
I love that you included a shot of Josh's (Let's Game It Out) Satisfactory tornado of conveyor belts.
  • Red Faction Guerrilla was such a cool game at the time. Felt like it was ahead of most games when it came to the destruction
  • @ARIXANDRE
It's such a power trip. I remember really liking the Godfather 1 videogame. Take over the businesses was awesome.
  • @nathand9144
So glad that the Mount & Blade Franchise is finally starting to get some well-deserved recognition!
  • M&B warbanner actually the pinnacle of medieval games. Personally I'd want to see a lot more games that allow us to conquer the lands on foot with diffrent themes.
  • @gavalon01
Fable 2 would've been a good fit for here. The fact that when you buy enough of the property available you become king, kinda makes you conquer it.

Nice to see Let's Game It Out's base featured in Satisfactory. But also, his only true intention is to break every game he plays.
  • @mtnman8783
Ooh I loved Viking battle for Asgard. Such an underated hidden gem
  • @kyua2445
The fact that shadow of war is not included here is a crime.
