Most unnatural part of this entire movie was simply that a Therapist would take a client free of charge after ONE meeting just because he acted weird.
  • While she was trapped inside his body handcuffed, she should've poked his own eyes out. While certainly painful, once she is back in her own body, the entity is completely blind, making it a pretty easy game

If I'm a doctor, ain't no way in hell I'm just going to take random meetings in the middle of the night.. Better set that s**t up with the next MF... 😂😂😂😂😂

Wait wait wait wait WAIT. The only way Elizabeth could’ve gotten possessed for the third time is to hear the entity speak the spell. She has to hear it that’s why it called her to possess her the second time. The last time the entity was nowhere near her when the entity recited the spell. Elizabeth should’ve been perfectly safe in the loony room.
  • Wait, why did the rules suddenly change with the final possession? She wasn't anywhere near him to hear the incantation.

note that this world is most likely set in a Lovecraftian universe because the Necronomicon works so in all likely hood the elder sign which is a protective ward in Lovecraftian lore works. It would hinder the entity if it is a entity to a extreme degree it also doesn't require any magical ability to draw and use which the boy should've known it. It also may have stopped the spell and it doesn't hurt to try edit: the elder sign is also in the Necronomicon so bring it with her would have been the best idea also its unlikely that throwing it in the fire would have solved her problems as its just a book with a collections of knowledge about the mythos the knowledge is dangerous not the book

Once the body switch happened and she ended up in the basement, she already knew everything. She knew he could switch bodies and knew it took talking. First, obviously he'd have a key somewhere in reach. But most importantly.. she should have just bitten off his tongue and started bleeding out. Even if her friend Dani had showed up and called for help, he'd likely have no tongue or the ability to use it if they did replace it, or he'd be bleeding out by the time the switch ended.

That wizard also has the ability to make everyone incredibly stupid. Also, where did those two dudes go, that with the doctor in the padded room?

I mean, I would’ve avoided going into the house the second time. Especially after the first encounter. After what was said in the session, and seeing the Necronomicon present, I’d steal that sucker after the first switch. Now, I have two ways of solving this. The first method is dark since it happens all the time. Elizabeth should instead tell the police the truth about how Esa forced himself on her since it actually did happen, and his DNA is likely present on Elizabeth. She can say she was scared to fight back. This gets Esa sent away to prison for years to come. That can end the movie right then and there. Now, with the second method if I answer the phone: Take the Necronomicon. I might not be able to read it, but the chances are, I can likely find a language professor who would have a field day translating the book. I would’ve blocked the number from being able to reach me to avoid the second switch entirely. Especially if I’m feeling compelled to answer. But if we assume a burner phone is being used, you have to avoid answering all calls, which is why canceling your phone plan is the best bet to avoid hearing the spell. Let’s say I do answer the phone. As a psychologist, Elizabeth has worked with people of different levels of mental disorders and illnesses. For crying out loud, her friend works with inmates with mental disorders. If one thing is consistent, people love talking about details during their 9-5. Yes, doctors have doctor-patient confidentiality, but if your case is memorable or interesting, they’ll be sharing said case with their friends outside of the office. What Elizabeth should be doing after the second switch is calling the local police and telling them that she’s a serial killer or a kidnapper. Either works. She should tell them she’s got a split personality as well, so it explains what happens when the entity takes control. It explains why they’re tied up so that they can’t get away. It also explains why they’re nearly naked; to prevent their alter from hurting anyone else or escaping. If Elizabeth goes the murder route, she can use her knowledge about the Necronomicon and claim the kills were for a ritual. And if they want to find the bodies, they’ve got to interrogate the alter, who’s the real killer. From there, Elizabeth would get a squadron to arrest her while in Esa’s body, and she can waive her right to a phone call. This way, Esa can’t use their one call to leave her stuck in prison. After she’s back in her body, she should wait a few hours before going to the police station to see Esa. The police already know she’s connected, but she can chalk it up to Esa charging into her office where he had an episode of switching personalities, like what will happen when Esa is in the car when they switch back. This gives her plenty of power! She can claim that Esa told her all about the rituals so that she would be added to the case. Especially since she can claim that she’s the only person that the 'sane personality' spoke to. It’s crucial to mention the book and to get a few professors from the local college to look into the book. Not only would it speed up the translation process, it would also give an idea where the incantation originated from, what it means, as well as potential ways to fortify one’s mind to protect themselves from the spell. I’d also look to see if there’s a way to nullify the spell completely. Like having a talisman on you will prevent Esa from using the spell completely. Or perhaps the spell has a sort of shut-off switch. Elizabeth can claim to see Esa as long as he’s gagged, but a guard must be present. The guard would also need to gag them if he starts the incantation since she could chalk it up to him refusing to cooperate. After finding nothing, the prison can close the case. This would also give Elizabeth access to the necronomicon in general! She can claim to examine it on the account of wanting to see what ritual made Esa believe that he could perform such acts. Once that case is closed, move so you can’t be tracked!
