  • Day 485 of asking for a video on I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter. They had the best commercials 😂
  • there are people in this world who eat sheep brains, fish heads and bull testicles, a hotdog is nothing in comparison lol ... now i want a hotdog real bad

The ingredients in a hot dog never bothered me nearly as much as the controversy that a standard pack of hot dogs is 10 while a standard pack of buns is 8. That's just diabolical.

Ok. "That's the smartest meat!" got me. I pulled a muscle laughing. Well played.
  • I used to work at slaughterhouse right after the turn of the century. I would like to amend to the usual contents of hot dogs. 1. Actual meat trimmings. There are always parts that are perfectly good meat, but it not considered part of the various cuts that are expected in the grocery store. Nothing shady about that. 2. Fat. Unhinged amounts of straight animal fat. With and without the skin.

As my old man used to say about what’s in a hot dog: “hips, lips, and a$$holes” Never stopped me from eating them though!

Just another food item to add to the list of "Foods That Taste Great and Shorten Lifespan."

"Hot Dog" supposedly came from a sports writer who coined the name in a cartoon, though no one has been able to find this cartoon, lol. You can still find hot dogs made from sweetmeats and chicken lips, but mostly today, they're legit ground meat...
  • Back in the early 80s my grandmother was driving home from the grocery store and got rear-ended by the Oscar-Mayer Weiner mobile. She and my grandfather got a small settlement out of it and they both kept it a secret until she passed away and my grandfather confirmed it at her wake while he was drunk - the only time I saw him drunk. I guess they were really embarrassed about it. 😂 RIP Grandma.

German here: Vienna actually is in Austria, not Germany. We share the same official language though.

I had hot dogs for my high school graduation reception. The most popular food for high school graduation receptions in my area (at the time) was beef brisket.
  • Mine have to be either grilled or fried. My favorites are Chicago dogs. I’m still frustrated that sonic took them off their menu.

So hard to resist! Mesquite-grilled onions, jalapeño relish..... Wait a minute. Those are southwestern ingredients! Mango-lime salsa? That's the kind of bold flavour they enjoy in......ALBUQUERQUE!
  • I know it's my breakfast time, but, I'm craving a hot dog to go with my coffee 🌭☕

I love Chicago hotdogs, Vienna Beef all the way.
  • @Robert-yc9ql
Nicely done. 😊 Here, both Kosher and Angus Beef hotdogs are now the preferred choices, drastically reducing the possibility of ingesting floor sweepings...
  • Hotdogs are a lot like bearded clams, they are amazing to eat, but never ask what they have put inside them…
