Today I've canned 13 pints of butter. I've canned butter many times over the years and have Never been disappointed.
As with all of my canned foods, I store them in a cool, dry place and primarily dark.
If you try this method, remember to label your jars with the product and date. Also, remember to remove the bands once your jars cool for proper storage.

Thanks For Watching!

I canned me some butter and after shaking those jars my arm game is strong lol. I even tried the garlic butter which I love so much. I'm making some more of that buttery goodness. I just gotta prepare my arms for that exercise. Lord. Thank you for sharing this method. I felt confident and scared at the same time but your video guided me through all that. That foam was off the chain on my toast. That's some pretty and delicious butter. Mine came out looking all cute I must say. Until next time.
  • Lol, I'd trust a homesteader more than our government 😆😘🙏🙏💞
  • The more I watch I realize how blessed I am to be able to learn from this amazing woman. Appreciate you sharing all your knowledge. God bless you beautiful lady!

I LOVE that you're a rebel canner! 😂 I've been afraid to do butter but you've convinced me to do it. I can't even imagine a life without butter!
  • I DID IT!!! I went through my freezer and believe it or not, I found 23 pounds of butter that we’re taking up a tremendous amount of space so I wanna head and canned them. So far I’m really happy and everything turned out great! Thank you for the video

The butter I buy is wrapped in parchment paper not foil. I drop the sticks in the pot still wrapped straight out of the box and let them melt. Then take the coated papers out and save them flat in the freezer in a ziplock to place in the bottom of cake pans. Use them like you would parchment paper, since that’s what they are. Just make sure the printed side is down; even though it’s food grade ink, I wouldn’t want the ink on my cake.

You're a preppers dream come true you're showing us how to store food economically and that means a lot
  • This lady is the real deal, cool calm articulate and funny to boot. Homesteader for 27 years and did many of the same things she and her man do but never canned butter. Will give it a go soon under these special circumstances of living in todays world.

This was my first video ever watching on your channel and I still come back for a refresher. Just bought up 32# of butter before it goes up much more so I can get it in jars! Thanks so much for everything you do to help us learn.

Girl I am a long time canner, baker, seamstress, gardener...in my 60's. I cannot tell you the last time I so enjoyed a video on canning. You did it right.....you did it very good! Well done and I thoroughly enjoy watching you teach.
  • A day without learning something is wasted, I am glad I had a good learning day.

You know what, less than three minutes in the video I already know I'm going to love it. My mother never canned butter, but she canned dang near everything you can get out of a garden, and seeing you stress the importance of having EVERYTHING out, organized, and sterilizing, makes me know you KNOW what you're doing. My mother taught me well, God rest her. I do love to see things done right. Thank you! Subscribing!

For those that are looking for smaller jar processing, half pints are the same process time as pints. Hope this helps.

This lady is seriously the coolest homesteader I’ve ever seen. Keep the videos coming. You’re great!

I've never canned in my life but your butter video inspired me! We are very prepared with other kinds of supplies and food, but couldn't find a butter substitute that we were happy with. You make me think I can actually have the real thing - even in an emergency situation! Hallelujah! I love your personality, attention to detail, and excitement for canning. Thank you!

I’m biracial but was raised only by my black side of the family. Even though I’m from California my family always was self reliant and I just love seeing black homesteaders. It’s my dream to follow suit. God bless

I watched this a while ago. Butter recently went on sale for less 2.47/lb. Bought myself 12 pounds and here I am with my butter in the pressure canner. Thank you very much for sharing!
