way to fast to follow what you click on

Brilliant!

Thanks! It took me a few times, but finally figured it out🙂 Neat tutorial, I can't wait to try it out with other objects🙂

Why not get the hatch set brush?

Thank you -- exactly what I was looking for!

Great tutorial! Looking at some of the comments below, I understand that some might find it goes too fast (remember I was also like this when I was self-learning). I would say that this tutorial is made for those who already have an idea on what the functions are (intermediate level) and where they are located. Otherwise I would say watch a beginners video for explanation or, slowly follow step by step with each instruction.

Thanks, Sid. I found this helpful as hatching can be quite tedious at times.
-
Great stuff! Thanks for your efforts!
-
Are you clicking intersection and then delete to keep the hatching in the shape?
-
Well done!! Excellent idea !!
-
Sid,try adding captions of voice inputs for basic tutorials.. that will simply make it great :-)
-
Cutting out the intersection doesn't work :(
-
Can this kind of shading be used for comic strips?
-
Didn't work for me. Whole thing disappears when I go to "intersection."

hi... im new user of inkscape.. how to move my toolbar on top like yours..
-
0:55 Use Extensions ⇒ Generate from Path ⇒ Interpolate instead of endless duplicating and moving.

How does one do this when not a god of accurate mouse operation? I just want to cross hatch fill a rectangle. Need svg output for freecad. Never used inkscape. Hatching needs to be 30 deg angle and 0,6mm spacings. Can you slow your videos down a bit, and add voice explanation as to what you do. Would take me days of frustration to re-produce what you just did in 4 min. I find your tutorial more of a tease than instructional. If you're trolling I'd give you 8/10, if your trying to teach 2/10.
