Probably THE best Netflix original series to date.

This is such a great show. The cast works great together. Ruth is an icon. Nobody would have played her as great as Julie Garner did. And my most saddened loss of the show was Buddy.

Jason Bateman is an American treasure and must be protected at all times

You have to be blind to not notice the different images in each title card however I was completely unaware that they formed the letters that make up “Ozark”

Julia Garner was a revelation on this show but I think Laura Linneys performance can not b over looked. If she doesn’t win some awards for her performance something is seriously wrong. I think this role is her finest acting to date.
  • Kinda sad because Ozark’s not having the attention it deserves. So many ppl sleeping on a great series that will soon be a classic
  • Jason Bateman is married to Paul Anka’s daughter, Amanda. Anka is a famous Canadian singer, they probably watch a lot of football together at family gatherings. A little footnote… Paul Anka used to deliver my mother’s newspaper way back in the day 😁

Bateman is an Underrated actor and a good Director

Ozark is the closest thing to Breaking Bad. The best two tv series ever in my opinion.

I would argue that Ruth is in a better place after meeting the Byrde’s. She would still be cleaning rooms at the motel and living with her fucked up family if it wasn’t for them.

The Jacob Snell character was the best written and acted on the show. Jacob felt authentic to the setting of the Ozarks and never compromised himself.
  • as a proud Missourian, the Ozarks is truly a magical place. can go from million dollar boats & homes to some seriously back woods Langmore areas in a matter of minutes. all sorts of fascinating people and beautiful scenery to see. a great place for a fun vacation or just to get away from things for a bit.

Best character was Wendy’s brother, some of the best acting I’ve seen on Netflix
  • Both Ozark and Breaking Bad have been superb dramas, slightly similar but different in a lot of ways. The main thing is they have steered well clear of .....THE MESSAGE......just great writing and great acting. Ruth has been an absolute revelation and Julia Garner is a real find as an actress....I`m sure we will see a lot more of her

Bateman is an incredible actor. He has a dull but likeable character. It feels as though this is his real life personality minus the drugs 😅
  • @Oilatumify
You missed the arrested development Easter egg where Marty forgets his son is there.
