FAQ's:
Q: Where are you located?
A: I am from Hobart, Tasmania, Australia 🦘.
Q: Do you worry about snakes?
A: I have never even seen a snake in over 5 years on the job.
Q: Which equipment do you use?
A: Mostly STIHL power equipment (battery and petrol) and commercial Honda self-propelled mowers.
Q: How much do the jobs cost?
A: Sorry, I prefer not to talk about costs.
Q: Why don't you use tarps instead of bins?
A: Tarps are too difficult to move through small spaces and lift into the trailer. The same for wheelbarrows, they are only good for unloading the trailer!
Q: Why are the hot water cylinders outside?
A: I would say it's because Australia had a temperate to tropical climate, and therefore it doesn't matter that much if they are outdoors. To me, though, it seems a bit inefficient to have them outside in Tasmania with a temperate climate (coldish for 3 - 4 months per year). But that is industry standard down here 🤷♂️.
Q: Why are you cutting so close to your employee?
A: I'm not cutting too close to my workers, they are standing too close to where I am working! All of my workers have been told numerous times about standing too close to the tools and about the hazards involved!
Q: Why do your workers do all the lifting and carrying?
A: Basically, they are employed to carry things and I pay them well, to do the job required.
Q: You work so well together, how do you do it?
A: That's the magic of editing. My workers are basically given instructions on what to do, I just edit it all out, so the videos look seamless!
Q: Why don't you have help?
A: I've had many problems with employees in the past, so now I work alone.
Q: Why don't you have a ride-on mower?
A: Well, there are a few reasons.
1. I don't have the right trailer for a ride on, considering I always take away the green waste.
2. I don't have anywhere to store it, as my shed is too small.
3. A lot of the properties we do have fences and gates, so you can't actually get a ride-on on to the properties.
4. I don't do enough big jobs to justify spending 15k AUD on a stander, but it would be nice to have one!
5. I will get one as soon as my transport and storage problems are solved.
Q: What types of ladders do you use?
A: The large one is a Gorilla Adjustable Platform 150kg and the small one is a Gorilla Mighty 19. They are both adjustable.
Q: Who/what is Jim's Mowing?
A: Jim's Mowing is a franchise business. The Jim's Group is the biggest home services franchise in Australia.
Q: Why do you have 2 channels that seem the same?
A: Quick Cuts (my original channel) has music in the background. Quick Cuts V2 is for those that like just machine noise, and it doesn't have musi

Must be OCD in me,but there is no greater satisfaction than taking something so out of control and making it neat and tidy again. Brilliant job George!
-
Wow!!!😮 Did the whole neighborhood use her yard as a dumping ground?! As usual George, you did a great job!😊
-
As a disabled 65 year old, I am so grateful for the help my adult children give me. It's embarrassing to ask for help, but it's better than their hurt and anger when I suffer in silence. They're wonderful people.
-
Such an incredible makeover, imagine the peace and tranquility she has to appreciate the front of her house. You are my favourite channel to watch on YouTube. Thank you
-
The Hobart community is so lucky to have you doing this. No one else seems to be helping these people. Bravo 👏🏻
-
This was a blessing. I’m so glad you got rid of all that rubbish! You are a true blessing to this lady, who needed help so badly. I bet everyone is happy to see this beautiful makeover!
-
I'm sure they tenants and the whole neighborhood were so appreciative. This was such an amazing transformation
-
I’m glad she allowed you to remove all the junk.
-
I hope the homeowners continue to keep the property as clean and tidy as you have so beautifully left it!
-
I commend her for trying to get things sorted out, for allowing someone to handle her things and clear them out. All signs point to hoarding disorder. She must be in a lot of mental anguish but so brave to start facing her issues! I hope the makeover you've gifted her proves how lighter life can be without all the baggage of the past. Thank you, George, for being so kind! 🤗 Sometimes, a total stranger is the only one who can do this and I'm glad you did this for her.

Watching that ivy come down was very satisfying.
-
Thank you for helping this disabled woman. Never judge someone on why their yard or house is a mess. You never know what's going on behind the scenes.
-
Hang on, what happened to the trailer? I enjoy a bit of climbers being pulled off a wall! One can see a glimpse of the back yard, what a mess! Thank you for doing this, not many people would be prepared to take the rubbish, even if they paid for it.
-
The plant on the left side of the front stairs is a Bird of Paradise. I bet this lady was mighty impressed with your work. It would have been depressing with all the mayhem in her front yard. Thank you for your kindness to this lady.😊
-
AMAZING JOB!! That person has to feel much better! You’re INCREDIBLE! Thank you!!
-
George this exceptional. The amount of work you have done already is like taking a full breathe of fresh air. This person must be so happy to be getting your professional help in such a difficult situation. Thank you George for all you do for these fine people. You truly are a blessing.
-
You were not kidding about the trash! I am older and cannot do much in my yard. I know how this person must feel. I was so happy to see the vines pulled down. I do not like vines. They do so much damage. Now the after pictures. It looks amazing! I can't wait for the next one on this yard. There is little worse than not being able to at least clean up your yard because of age or bad health. I know this person will be happy with what you have done.
-
Oh wow! It's a nice location though with the mountains in the background.

God bless you for making this person fell proud of her home once again ,.Sometimes we don't realize when we see a property in dismay ,so for helping this lady God will bless you in another way, thank you for sharing this cleanup ,you did a fantastic job
