I've worked in hotels for 20 years and these are legit. Usually these kinds of titles are clickbait with super-obvious "tips" like, "check prices online!", but this was the real deal.
  • @THE-X-Force
Yes! PLEASE do more videos like this! Ways to save money that aren't just about a list of stuff on sale. Thank you!

Now, how about doing cruises?! Thanks for all these hacks!
  • @zp3631
Also, only use a credit card at check in. Debit cards hold an amount and you have no access to that money until the hotel releases that!

I HAVE ALREADY STATED THIS A COUPLE OF PREVIOUS TIMES. BUT YOU ARE AWESOME❣️

Thank you for doing this type of video, it's so overwhelming trying to find a place to stay that doesn't suck and /or put you into debt!

Don't do a lot of hotel stays but recently traveled to pick up new puppy and had an overnight stay. As a AAA member I checked for discounted rate through them as well as different booking sites. I found booking direct from the hotel the best price. AAA as well as other sites were significantly higher. So much so, that the difference between booking direct was the difference in the cost of gas to make the trip.

Those mystery pricing tips are invaluable. Sometimes there are great deals but if you don’t know which hotel it is you are afraid to commit. Thanks for the great video!
  • This is, hands down, one of your best videos - thanks for the fantastic tips!

My husband and I are Hilton members. I had no idea they price matched. I will be looking more into that for sure.

I so appreciate your insights and your enthusiasm. Thanks so much for all your tips! I've never heard of bereavement rates. I hope I don't have a reason to use that tip anytime soon but really interesting to learn.

Please remind viewers that most hotels are willing to work with folks. Also kindness and respect goes a long way.
