"Whas that a shark?" - Random guy in a plastic cube in the middle of the ocean after floating next to a shark for minutes and after receiving multiple bumps.
-
That swim to the boat was probably the longest 30 seconds of his life
-
the fact he tried to climb on top of the box the shark just broke thru let you know how terrified he was
-
The rule “do not tap on glass” is even more relevant when you’re the one inside of it
-
Love how all the small fish circling around the box knowing this would be a free meal
-
Takes dedication to get eaten for the studio audience
-
I've got to say, the lack of precaution Discovery shows is pretty insane. Extremely thin plexiglass, no standby boat in case he gets bumped into the water, no one even tossed a life preserver, which is required by law to be on the boat. As a fan of a major company with plenty of funds, it's a bit disappointing.
-
The panic at the end suggests he actually didn't expect that to happen
-
This was probably the dumbest thing I've ever seen done before and this guy is lucky he's alive, ridiculous.
-
Claims he works with sharks, then knocks on the plastic like a kid at an aquarium. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
-
That man is incredibly lucky to be alive
-
That shot right before it attacked with its mouth wide open literally in HD is one of the most terrifying things I've ever seen
-
How could any human being think this was a decent idea? Especially the decision to remain in the water even after a series of warning signs were issued by the shark
-
Plexiglas vs giant shark….. Stay tuned for next week- jumping out of planes with toilet paper parachutes
-
For someone so out of their flippin’ mind you’re one lucky dude. I can’t believe you got out of there safely but of course very happy you did. That shark was HUGE
-
This deserves at least a Darwin award nomination.
-
Join us next week as we parachute off Mt Everest using shoelaces and a bedsheet
-
If that one-tonne beast had launched itself full force into a major breach, that plexiglass box would have shattered on impact and the gentleman inside it would have been gobbled up. That is one of the craziest stunts I've ever seen.
-
To be fair, this is the type of content for why are we watching Shark Week. Glad he is ok
-
The scary thing is that it looks like the shark was actually intent on killing him. I don't think this was just a curious encounter or an investigative bite. That shark wanted to kill and devour him.
