As a YouTuber with 2 channel that have over 100k subscribers, I can second everything Ali said in this video. Making videos is the only way to get better at making videos. Just start.

“Use your unfair advantages” is really opening things up for me. It changed the game from “How can I develop the best skills for YouTube?” (which can be daunting) to “How can I use the skills I have to make YouTube videos that only I can make?” … though to be fair, I probably still need to brush up on my YouTube skills.

I live in a country where getting paid an equivalent of 5 dollars for a full day's work (6am-8pm) is very normal, most people earn this or less and only a few make more but you need 'big connections' This is regardless of your level of education. That being said, I got motivated to get into YouTube so that in the long term, I will be able to have a flexible schedule to enjoy life as I earn a fair amount of money. Guys, all the best in your journey, it only gets better❤️

i am already at 59 of age and because of the pandemic i started vlogging and found it so relaxing and stress free of the corona virus,now after 4 1/2 months i already have 50+ videos and 1124 subscribers ,im not yet monetize because my watch hours was not yet ok but im happy that i started it now💗

I love how realistic you are in this video. Something I have not heard anyone else talk about is to use “your personal advantages”. Everyone has one, and if we learn how to use our gifts, we can help more people.

I did it Ali! I literally took up my phone while having a walk today, recorded and posted on the spot. As a perfectionist, I feel a lot of discomfort atm, but I just had to do it that way, otherwise I’d have kept procrastinating this for years!

No one cares! So true! Even when I've told some co-workers, friends or family members that I have a YT channel, they don't even watch. LOL. It's the complete strangers who watch and find value in the videos.
