just got around to watching this now, incredibly stylistic and well-done, I love how the "OH NONONONONONO" part is the most replayed portion

What Ena communicates to me is that post-modernism doesn't need to be snarky or deconstructionist and can in the end even be somewhat heartwarming.

I can imagine someone who speaks Korean, Japanese, and English watching this video and being so confused.

“Shut up and go in peace” is the most passive aggressive sentence I’ve ever heard in my life.

Ironically the drunk Ena is the only one who said that everything was weird.

I love how Moony notices she is the gift and it ends with their both smiling. Moony seems so happy because of being the gift and Ena seems happy because she made Moony happy. She went throught a lot and had a happy deserved ending.

Someone mentioned this above, but I like the theory of the mistranslated captions being ENA just straight up ignoring what they’re saying in favor of hearing what she wants :)
