Does the size of wheel change on how well the unicycle will handle? If not what exactly is the major diffrence between a larger wheel and a smaller wheel?

I play unicycle hockey for the London Luni's,I was told about this game by a fellow unicyclist I met,this looks like it could be fun,but it looks a lot more likely to see injuries,are 24" wheels the largest allowed,36" Coker sized wheels would be quicker,or are Schlumpf's allowed,do people play on 100mm cranks as we do in unihockey.

Yes the smaller 20" wheels have more agility but can't go as fast as the 24" wheels.
