This is really sad. The whole entire park is being evacuated at the moment due to heavy rains.

Never understood the reasoning of buying a house near a River. Eventually over the years the erosion will wipe that investment away. Is a view really that worth it?

Damn where is this it looks so beautiful there but what a weird spot to build a house… looked like it was a newer style home

Imagine the cleanup of all that after it finds a stopping point. Sinks, bathtubs, electrical wiring, lighting, wood, roofing, tiles, etc.....damn!
-
I want to know where it ended up.

What a tragedy, someone's dream home destroyed in a matter of minutes. Stay safe citizens around Yellowstone.

Rumor has it the tenant is still in the basement playing Worlds of War and sucking on cheeseballs

I went whitewater rafting and saw the remains of the house a few days ago. Freaking epic

What a sad sight as the total loss of the structure draws ever closer! However, there were no human casualties and insurance will cover the loss of the structure.

This reminds me of gta GTA V when you have to pull the house off the hill on that one mission. 🤣🤦🏾♂️

It's a mobile home, now
-
That’s sad!

I make more serious fundations for my fence then you do in the US for the houses. Not that it would have prevented this but it is still shocking how lax you are. Same with the flood protection, building permits etc.

Yikes now what?
