On the topic of pause or rewind, particularly KB’s “rewinding would be unhealthy” comment: there is an INCREDIBLE movie about this exact topic. It’s called “About Time”, it’s a pseudo romcom as it focuses more on life and it’s little joys. Great flick with a great message and it directly answers this question.

The blocked shot even after the whistle does work TRUST. As a shooter you only need one to feel confident or the want to shoot it soon as you get it. If you don’t know if the shot went in or not you still are unsure. It’s a confidence thing
