👉I am a 5th generation beekeeper who is learning the art of beekeeping with every new hive. Since Southern California depends primarily upon imported water for drinking and irrigation I keep up to date on water issues as our extreme and protracted drought affects everything from the lakes we use for recreation to the food we eat. The excessively dry conditions also affect bees and honey production as fewer and fewer natural plants have water to bloom and make nectar and pollen.
