I died when Rashad called out how Gil be forcing brandon to dap him up to make it seem like they're on the same side. I noticed Gil does that alot when no one is agreeing with him ๐๐
-
Rashad:"Can i change my all star list" Gil: "sure... Change your list" Rashad: "ill put the same list"๐ ๐
-
Gil always putting these technicalities or narratives on their discussions ๐
-
Gil is tripping. The International team is the clear favorites.
-
The Gil Rashad battles make the show
-
Gil saw that line up and was like โoh shitโ I fucked up ๐
-
That line up killed every argument Gil had ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐
-
There's 125 international players in the league right now. That's damn near 1/3
-
Embiid becomes American as apple pie when Gil has to defend US basketball.
-
Gil: BECAUSE HES NOT A TEW!!๐๐
-
Gilbert's mad at the truth ๐๐๐๐
-
Gilโs logic: canโt just put a PF at the point Lebron would like to have a word
-
He proved his point, and Gil said Iโm not playing fantasy. I HOOOOOOLLERED LMAO
-
Gil is tripping, constantly trying to change the parameters to change the argument. He knows damn well the international players can hold their own and be more then competitive.
-
That starting five is insane
-
Man Rashads starting 5 is incredible!!
-
Rashad makes this podcast entertaining. At first it was annoying but now I be waiting for him to talk about his takes ๐
-
Lowkey one of the funniest clips from them and they got many ๐๐
-
One my favorite clips. Yโall got me cracking up!

Convoluted issue, because Joel Embiid is Congolese, but went to HS at Montverde Academy in FL and college at Kansas U. He was raw ASF like Olajuwon when he arrived to the States. SGA went to Christian Academy in Chattanooga TN his junior & senior years of HS, because he felt he needed to improve and needed better competition in his own words. Then he went to Kentucky U. So you look at two guys in the Top 4 of MVP voting, their foreign born but large parts of their game were honed in American institutions, unlike Giannis, Luka, Jokic or Wemby. Even Domantas Sabonis was born and lived in Portland OR until he was 8, because his dad Arvydas played with the Blazers. Then he went to play in Spain and thatโs pretty much where he played from 9 to adult. Heโs Eastern European in ancestry like Luka or Jokic, but he didnโt grow up there. Anthony Edwards is getting 27/5/5 his 4th year and Mike Conley runs the Timbs offense and KAT is putting up big numbers too. Gobert is in the paint getting rebounds and blocks. You put him on a small ball team like Dallas and he dominates the ball all game like Luka or Harden in Houston, his stats jump. Not saying heโs better, but he doesnโt have an usage rate close to Lukaโs. Antโs usage rate is probably closer to Kyrieโs. Paolo Banchero is 23/7/5 as 2nd year player. I think Chet will be an All Star by his 3rd season, if he can stay healthy and keep getting stronger. Only people stopping Zion & Ja are Zion & Ja. The off court shyt, which is leading to lack of playtime, inferior conditioning and injuries. Ja isnโt overweight, but I think his body was used to that NBA regular season grind, due to the suspension and he got hurt, shortly after coming back. So there are great American players in the pipeline. Giannis and Jokic are both 29, so I give them 5-6 more years before they decline due to age and nagging injuries. Luka and Wemby are generational talents both 25 and under, so theyโll be dominating for another decade, unless thereโs a bad injury that occurs.
