  • Dude, The Crow soundtrack is a banger. Stone Temple Pilots, Nine Inch Nails, The Cure, Machines of Loving Grace.... God, I love 90s music.
  • For me, there is only one Crow movie. And it's this masterpiece. Rest in peace, Brandon. We still miss you and your Dad.
  • Bruce Lee influenced my martial arts journey from an early age. After Bruce’s death at the height of his fame I was genuinely excited when Brandon hit the scene. Brandon was poised to be a major action star in the mould of his father but with sensitivity and depth as an actor. The Crow is a stand alone great movie that deserves its standing as a classic. I saw it twice at a theatre when released. Brandons death was an absolute tragedy ….
  • Born in the shadow cast by Bruce Lee, Brandons humility was always present in his characters. During an interview this stands out: "I don't know if I was destined to play this role, but I feel very fortunate to be doing so."

Not only did I watch this movie in theaters when it came out, but I went to watch it again in theaters for the 30th anniversary. I bought an extra 10 tickets just to support it and support Brandon. This film should've never been touched again after Brandon's passing.

Watching this movie in the theatres opening weekend changed my life.

My older brother took me to see it on May 13th 1994, I remember everyone clapping when Brandon’s name popped up in the opening credits. This movie literally means so much to me it became me and my brother’s favorite film. I lost my brother years later and everytime I watch it I know he’s watching it with me . This movie is literally perfect from the cinematography, soundtrack, and Brandon’s performance. I saw it again for the 30th anniversary thanks to your video about it. “For Brandon and Eliza”.

The Crow is special for many reasons. Brandon was very special and I followed him since he was a young actor and Martial Artist. I also love graphic novels. The Crow was just such a great story. Thanks for this … Can’t rain all the time…

One of those few cases of remembering exactly where I was when I heard the awful news about Brandon Lee. Rip mate, your career was just beginning, and you gave us so much. Thanks snarky, well done
  • That’s pretty cool to have Bridget Baiss as a guest on your show!!
  • I was barely a teenager when Brandon Lee died. I was so devastated being a Bruce Lee fan and was already very happy with the work Brandon Lee was doing up until the tragedy. I always wondered what he would’ve accomplished had he been still alive. Thank you for the video.

The Crow is in the rotation of movies I watch regularly. The Mother is the word for God quote gets me every time. I know what I am watching tonight.

My favorite movie of all-time. It's the thing that led me to your channel Jay. I've watched The Crow on devil's night each year for the last 30 years, it's my tradition. It will always be as long as I'm alive. I'll never let Brandon Lee be forgotten. RIP.

I was a young guy on a six month deployment in the Gulf when I got news that Bruce Lee's kid died on set. News was hard to come by but I felt the loss as I loved Bruce. When the movie arrived, I was blown away. Brandon was a real star. It was a terrible shame this movie is his magnum opus - we could have had so many amazing movies from this charismatic actor! I fell in love with this movie and saw it over and over at the theater. It helped me get away from the military (in my head, anyway) for a little while and I got immersed in the rain washed aesthetic of the movie. The Crow was truly amazing. RIP Brandon!
