3Bet pots happen very often in the modern poker climate where many players opt for a 3Bet or fold strategy from UTG, HJ, CO, BTN and SB. In this video we enlist the help of Carrot Corner resident 3Bet pot expert Justin Liu to talk us through how these spots rea

  • @xrsma
Thanks for the video. I disagree in one spot and as someone who plays a lot of 25NL for training purpose I have to say from my experience no 25NL player will Station you down in a 3b pot with QJ on AK8Q7 when you tripple barrel. Thats far from reality

I would happily invest or bet on the fact that you are crushing it on HS soon after going pro! Pete I donโ€™t see the link to his channel? Maybe you forgot to put the link or Im missing it. Gl in the future both!
  • @c0l3slaw
Thanks for making this video. 3Bet pots are one of my biggest weak spots, I am rarely comfortable in my lines when I'm in a 3Bet pot. Love to see this type of content. Keep it coming.

Bluffing The River A. If opponent must call wide with weak absolute hand strength hands, the spot is probably over folded. B. If opponent must fold high absolute hand strength hands, the spot is probably called too much. ...... Is the above correct?
  • @Alexandertygreat
That final hand is a slam dunk call in NL 50 and below. Players are not thinking at all at this level and bluff every time they are at the bottom of their range. Thanks to Doug polk. Zero chance i fold A9 here and but i never not get some money on the turn when Ace hits.
  • @TheOnlyToast
Last hand you guys said usually villain should turn 76 and 98 into a bluff but villains dont do it, therefore A9 is an even clearer fold. But now our hero calls A9 and you also said many heroes do that -> So therefore I should not turn my 76 and 98 into a bluff in practise?
  • @MrDanmackem
Couldnt agree more, they love to call flop (vs 1/3 range bet) and fold turn at low stakes as their range is too wide on boards that suit the 3bettor.
  • @jan8537
Fuck yeah! Was just studying some CO defense vs BU, pumped for the vids! Absolutely love the idea of going deep in one specific spot, that happens often. Wouldnt mind SRP BvB or 3BP BvB as next topics.
  • @mcpartridgeboy

  • @IronFist2508
Hey Pete, just a suggestion - could you include a comments box underneath the training videos on your new subscription service? I think it will give us students the opportunity to discuss the video and potential concepts that were discussed in it ๐Ÿ‘
  • @KingsOfCardio
Hey guys, I ran the QTss vs A5dd hand and GTO prefers a flop call (70%) and a river check (63%) with QTss.
  • @ProWagerHub
What an understudied spot. Which is crazy given we play for stacks in these situations sometimes!
