Part 2 of my train trip on Amtrak from Emeryville to Denver (link to part 1 at the end of the video).

At Truckee there is an old wrecking crane and passenger car, and a rotary snowplow with what appears to be an interesting little centercab behind it. Please let me know if the Union Pacific still use these!

The wooden structure shown in one of the canyons we passed through is actually part of a hydroelectric power station. It carried a water inside until a few decades ago when it was heavily damaged in a flood.
