try clipping into the rock climbing bridge on the petzl sequoia srt harness when working on a spar to shorten the system. work really nice :)

I'm just getting into tree work I'm trying to learn when and where to use different methods there's just alot to it drt is easy but srt gets confusing

This might be a solution to the large profile on the fusion teather. So Im not to familiar with the Petzl harness but if your rope bridge is adjustable then that might help. Look at a picture of the Edilrid Treerex saddle. It has a hitch on the rope bridge so you can adjust the length as you climb wich would also take care of any side loading. Maybe you alredy know this.
