this really shows you how many weird yet effective solutions game devs find, they don't care if its logical or if it is weird, as long as it LOOKS legit then they'll do it

4:55 that totally made it into the final version because the player wouldn’t see it and that the devs thought it was too hilarious to remove

“It’s a lot easier to just bring in the whole model and hide most of it than it is to just only have an arm.” The prototype:
  • I remember watching markiplier video on this chapter. When the bunny says the date, his silence is all i needed to know that it was his birthday, honestly a beautiful moment in horror videogame history.

The reason there usually are assets under the map is that it's easier to "copy" an asset already loaded and faster, so if an asset is expected to be used multiple times theres a hidden one always loaded in where the devs (assume) the player cant see. Thats whats up with T-posing freddy in SB
  • I have a theory about the imposter door!!! It potentially swaps out once you get the key for it, since before that point, the door is unopenable!

The issue with Kissy Missy "refusing to be lit" is actually a really clever trick. Since there's light down the hallway, she would normally be lit up as soon as she reaches it. But because of the dark portion of the corridor she walks through, there's a moment where she isn't lit and you don't notice her Texture swapping out for a flat black color to make her look like a shadow. I don't know if they really needed to do that but it certainly makes it feel more ominous.
  • I love the idiotic face the small Huggies make after they kill the player. They're so pleased with themselves.

Fun fact: there’s a broken window you can see which just has led lights behind it, that’s because of one of the notes asking to add in windows with lights behind them to make it feel less “artificial” and less like you’re underground

11:25 yea poppy’s eyes are extremely unsettling because they look so human compared to her porcelain doll body, which makes sense since poppy is (I think) supposedly a grown adult kinda fnaf’d in there Edit: CONSENSUAL fnaf’ing. Just thought I should clarify lol

Watching the whole place, the puzzle areas and the final boss chase I think this chapter is basically succeeding in everything Security Breach intended to do: -Three toys/animatronics in their respective zones that you need to complete in order to beat the boss -A lot of minigames and puzzles to get through that fits their theme/area -A little bit of lore about a bigger threat down the building -And a scary female killer pulling the strings that internet called Mommy
  • I know you were probably joking but like the litter box idea is actually kind of interesting to think about. The Huggys are like cats to me. They like playing with their food and are carnivores. Cats get aggressive when using the litter box because they’re vulnerable. Playtime Co maybe wanted to maximize the profits so they made their toilet a children’s play area.

Spiff : (talks about Mommy Long Legs) Poppy : (repetitively dies in the background)

14:17 This is probably caused by a discrepancy between the Worldmodel (which is what everything else in the game is made of) and the Viewmodel (a modified model that is rendered as a 3D object, but drawn as part of the HUD; these are normally only used for weapons in first-person shooter games).

Fun fact: the small huggies are apparently called “wuggies”.
  • @M_dMV
Fun fact: mommy long legs appears t-posing at least 5 times in the whole game
  • @Sencilia
Poppy's scream is funnier the more times you hear it.

7:39 WHY DID THEY GIVE HIM THAT DUMPTRUCK?!?!?!
