Luigi Grasso makes bEbop and Swing proud. His effortless flow, fat sound and total delivery take you to a better time, when top cats were intelligent AND hip at the same time. When I listen to him, I get reminded of the fact that this amazing music, which expresses both absolute joy and the blues, offers never-ending pleasure for those who listen closely .... Bird Lives !!

These cats show a true respect and understanding of Charlie Parker's music and the bebop idiom, as well as making the music their own and swinging like hell. One of the best modern day bop performances I have heard.

Dary had the Bird thing goin' on....the sound. One of the greatest horn duos..and Grasso was all over that horn...not playin' in anybody's style...just his own...and that's Good!
