The battle of the stepdads is what finally made me like Thancred. I hadn't been charmed by him much in previous expansions, but this gave him so much growth from his past as a womanizer. Seeing him mature and act as a (step)father is what I didn't know I wanted.

Fun fact: Minfilia's real name is Ascilia, but since her bioDad is a spy Thancred gave her her name "Minfilia" to keep her safe. And now so many years later he names Ryne too 😭🥺.

I was soooo scared Dadcred died before he has a second chance to be a better father 😭. I'm so glad omg my heart. It's one thing to have a grand gesture and sacrifice your life but being a dad isn't just about grand gestures.
