Back in the 1990s when I was helping coach the US team pursuit (I coached our juniors to a national record), our elite MEN’s team was going in 4:20s. We put in a huge effort to upgrade the team pursuit to get them down into 4:14s. These ladies went 4:04… And now individual men go 4K pursuit in under 4:00. Let that sink in…
