Unsafe SCHOOL BUS STOP forces kids to WALK on the STREET!

This is a very special one. I got caught behind a bus this week and was shocked to see the stop the kids got off at! Another complete dumping ground. The kids had to walk on the street because the sidewalks were completly trashed. I knew right then that this would by my next project.

This one took 2 days but it was well worth it. Found a couple toilets, front bumper, diapers, and a whole lot of trash. Also, my truck window got smashed - but it was all worth it to see the end result!

We pay taxes to the schools, the cities, the states... and it take a random stranger with no ties to the property to make it safe for these kids to walk home after getting off a bus every day. Disgraceful! Thank you for helping these kids out. You're a gem.
  • This is psychologically so healthy for the students and community. You’re a blessing to your community and family.
  • This is what deserves our views. Not Met Gala outfit reactions. Not the Met period.
  • Many adults complain about the so-called "bad attitudes" of young people. I think if more adults treated young people with care, kindness, concern, understanding, & appreciation, like this man, our world would start spinning in the right direction. 😊

Can't help but laugh at you're broken window. No good deed goes unpunished. But you didn't let it break your stride. We can all learn alot from your kindness and patience.

The fact that people will now get to use the side walk and think “finally the city did something”, NO CITY DIDNT DO SHIT! give this man an award!
  • This job was anything but free for you! Broken truck window, broken chain saw, battery died, not to mention the dump fees. That city, in my opinion, owes you an incredible Thank You for cleaning that area up. I kept thinking about how exhausted and sore you were going to be the next day. I believe God is smiling on you for compassion for kids and people you don't even know.I would like to thank you for your selflessness and hard work.

Can you imagine the impact that it would be if we all took responsibility like this for our communities.

Best one man show, hands down. I’m sure this will make an impression on the students. They saw one person cared enough. Thanks for caring.👍💚

I love that that gentleman stopped and thanked you. He celebrated your work beautifully. I hope the city and property owners care for it from here.

I love how even the sky is part of the before and after. dark and gloomy while the sidewalk was trashed, then sunny and beautiful while the sidewalk was clean.
  • @CB-dj1uz
Wow! Even if the kids don’t use the sidewalk not getting dropped off at a junkyard anymore would certainly raise your spirits!
  • @caseypenk
This is a triple win. The community gets a usable and safe bus stop that isn’t an eyesore, you get ad revenue, and we get a satisfying cleanup! Please continue this important work!

Dude made the block ADA-compliant so everyone dependent on mobility devices don't have to be on the street. Outstanding.

I was not expecting you to go all the way to the stop sign. What you did was a blessing.

Lead by example - This is the very example of what 'Make America Great Again' means. You don't think all those passerbyers and kids aren't taking notice and his good work isn't making some sort of impact on their lives? He beautified a community, made it safe for school children ...he turned a wrong into a right. Wishing him and his family good health, happiness and much prosperity.
