Gluten& dairy free for me. Plus thyroid and Adrenal support. Starting iodine I think is good too. Fixing blood sugar by eating enough protein at every meal.

    Awesome information; many thanks!

I went carnivore (about 95%, I cheat a little bit) about a month ago, and my frequent headaches have all but disappeared.

Thank you for your wisdom in so many areas! I’ve learned so much from you!! What suggestions do you have for chronic back pain relief for a recovering opioid addict (clean 5 years)
  • @amandavan55
Thank you, insightful as always. I can not take CoQ10 as I experience very bad vertigo. To make sure it is the CoQ10, I've tested it multitude times. I've stopped taking it for a few weeks and the moment I drink it, the vertigo returns like clockwork! I would like to know if there are anybody else that has experienced this phenomenon.

For me... as in, this is only my personal testimony, the headaches went away when I went Low Carb High Fat (LCHF). So, it appears it was a food intake (dietary) issue for me.

Any thoughts on hemicrania continua? Suffered from it since puberty and now through menopause, but I still have the headache. 24/7/365. Yes, I’ve had many head scans, MRIs, all that. Nothing to explain the constant headache. Changed diet because of diabetes, lost 45 lbs, still no relief. I know it’s a rare condition, just wondering if you have any ideas to help relive it.
  • @Jill.Carter.
I rarely get headaches now and I don't think I've had to use pain relief for a headache for over a year. I believe that the improvement (as I used to be plagued by debilitating headaches and migraines) started when I began a low carb high fat diet, improved further when I adopted a keto diet and possibly further again when I started being aware of and trying to improve my omega 3 to omega 6 balance. So I'm guessing that reducing inflammation in my body through diet removed a major trigger for me.

When I get a headache I see my chiropractor and most of the time it goes away. Also, magnesium works wonders for me.

There are many neurotoxins and food that they hide. Obviously MSG. There’s another one that’s in shrimp. Very bad. I’ve had migraines all my life and they’ve calmed down because I’m 65. I was told older age reduces headaches they’re definitely a lot less. But I still get auras. I’m a drummer professionally not the best combination but I get through it. Also I have arthritis in the vertebrae in my neck which is not good. So I exercise. Yoga. Which helps
