The story of Josephine Baker is just absolutely fascinating. I am so glad you decided to do one more espionage video! A French WW2 Resistance leader but born in Arkansas, and the the first african american woman to star in a major motion picture...she's truly a story worth reading about. I very much enjoy your informative videos. May I add something to your knowledge? I am a NY actor who has met Josephine Baker’s gay son. Actually he explained that they were very close and only had a short period of estrangement. He owns a magnificent restaurant called Chez Josephine in midtown Manhattan. Thank you again for sharing your plethora of knowledge on so many topics and your soothing voice.
