Joe, your background knowledge on these cars is unmatched. Because of you now I know what the "ZR" in 'ZR1" stands for. 1064 HP!?!?! I feel like Doc Brown from Back To The Future when his younger self realized he needed 1.21 gigawatts of power to power the flux capacitor. The fact we get all this insane engineering and hypercar performance which will most likely be at a supercar price is mind blowing! This represents the absolute pinnacle of Corvette engineering.1064 HP on pump gas with no electric motors or batteries to weigh it down while passing emissions and all with a warranty. Easily over 200+ MPH and the 1/4 mile in well under 10 seconds. That is INSANE! Now I know we are living in the future. Again, WOW! I do have to add with the Hennessey F5, the Ford Mustang GTD and now this Corvette ZR1, America is serious about taking on the world. These "daily drivers" are putting up performance numbers that used to be considered science fiction and they all sound amazing doing it! I feel like we are seeing the pinnacle of internal combustion engine technology on display for all to see. What a time to be a car enthusiasts! Thank you again Joe and Lori for the great coverage! I'm not a Corvette person but this is bad ass. I thought this car was going to be at least 800hp or 900hp, but 1064hp my reaction was wtf. If I ever win the lottery I would definitely get one of these. That's just unreal.
