This channel is so awesome. Thank you Falcon and Jake for these years of your contribution towards gaming community!

Absolver and Sifu being in here is no surprise, Sloclap are masters of hand-to-hand combat. Can’t wait to see what’s up next for them.
  • Sleeping Dogs is really a under-rated gem. The combat in it is so satisfying. Not to mention the environmental take-downs. Also, the combat is awesome in Yakuza series as well.

Seeing God Hand and Shaolin Monks is such a throwback. They were so freaking good. PS2 was just the absolute best era for gaming.

So glad to see Absolver and Sifu on this list! The combat system that Sloclap uses on these titles are truly on of a kind! Absolver really shines bright to me in the case that you can basically create your own combat style through moves you learn throughout the game and really make your own fighting style. Its really a shame that the game stopped getting updates. This channel never seizes to impress me with its awareness in the gaming community! ❤

Glad to see Sleeping Dogs still get coverage. Such a timeless classic. 💯
  • @Nick-tl2or
Thanks for all your videos, you and Jake are one of the best parts of youtube ❤️

The Bouncer on PS2 is extremely underrated. Yes, it's very short but the combat was so much fun.

My man sounds like you need a vacation, but thank you for keeping the content up despite fatigue

I was waiting for Sifu to appear on this list. Just beat it. It was great, once I learned all the mechanics.
  • @jumpierwolf
Surprised urban reign isn't on here. The fighting and grappling system is really good in that game.
  • @blackdoc6320
Love how you guys always find a way to sneak in some jak and daxter gameplay here and there. That was my childhood
  • Chronicles Of Riddick: Escape From Butcher Bay is in my opinion the best first person perspective melee combat ever created in a game, the weight, the physics its just perfection, its also fun as hell.

Man i miss Clover Studios so much and God Hand was such a banger (such an amazing studio while they lasted luckily Platinum is still a great studio and Clover live on through them (Speaking of SEGA studios, i really miss Toshiro Nagoshi being at the company, he was the man who made Yakuza what it is today, i'll forever thank him for bringing my favourite game series to life)

God Shaolin Monks was so much fun back in the day. I remember grinding the game with my friends trying to unlock different characters and finding hidden items throughout the maps, didnt realize it was underrated tho
  • @CptVein
FREAKING BREAKDOWN!! YO!!!!!! I LOVE that game so much. I ''forced'' multiple of my friends to rent the game so they could experience it. To this game, I love 1st person melee games. If I have the option, I go for melee. I'm on my 3rd cyberpunk playthrough and all of them have been melee(and unarmed) Falcon is recording on the go again :P Thank you for quality videos everyday of the week!

I'd like to point out that the combat in Sleeping Dogs is not inspired by the Batman Arkham games. The game is a spiritual successor to the True Crimes series, which had a similar combat system. Both games came out well before Arkham City did.
