Lou Pinella is classic. You know when he throws down that hat, it's on....
  • I would charge up a hill in Gettysburg if Lloyd McClendon were leading me. Thats the kind of person I want stepping up for me.
  • Earl Weaver was about 80 years old back in the 1970's. He was the manager of the Orioles and was a beast when he got pissed off. Some of his and Billy Martin's ejections were legendary.
  • At 1:44 watching that manager so angry that he literally pickup first base & walked off the field with it, was the funniest thing.
  • I'm not a profesional lip reader but it seems like every argument includes the statement: "that's bulltshit" ...lol
  • Love Jim Leyland. He was 100% right in that argument too. He knew how to pick his battles, and man did he get his money’s worth when he argued.
  • Lloyd McClendon was one hell of a baseball player, could play ever position except pitcher on the field at a excellent level. Saw him catch a game for the Cubs.
  • The best managerial ejection I ever saw (in person too) was Earl Weaver vs. the Yankees. An Oriole was called out at second. Earl came charging out for the confrontation. A fan in the stands yelled, “Get back to the dugout, ya fuckin’ runt!” Earl flips his cap around so he can peck at the umpire. He then SITS DOWN on second base. The ump had no choice but to run him. So Earl let’s loose and, eventually, the ump turns and goes to brush off home plate with his back towards second. Earl makes a beeline for him like he was going to kick him in the ass. Instead, the moment the ump was through, Earl kicks dirt all over the dish. Priceless. Even Lou Pinella can’t top that one.
  • I enjoyed seeing Lloyd McClenddon playing in Venezuelan winter league in the 80's, he always was a tough competitor, a mad dog in every play and people loved him or hated him.
  • I absolutely love it when managers argue so hard with the umps it shows their passion! I love managers!
  • Joe Leyland's reaction was like an old 1930's black and white film sped up!
  • @riff2072
Joe Girardi could put on a good show for the team.

I swear when you go to an mlb game nothing excites the crowd more than this
  • Bobby Cox had the most ejections in history and you couldn’t even put one of his 160+ ejections in here. And he had some crazy ones
  • Without at least one Earl Weaver, these are not the greatest of all time
  • @dusthue
Walking away with first base is the coolest thing ever.😂

How do you not have Billy Martin on this list? ? ?
  • Gotta love Leland. I still love watching clips of him giving Bond’s hell years ago.
