    Q) What's the difference between stupidity and intelligence? A) Intelligence has limits.
  • @EEPhD
It’s more than stupidity. It’s lies, hate, and fear as well as wanting to be part of the social group you identify with. It’s also laziness because it’s too much work to think for yourself.
  • @Missy-Missy1111
It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it. (Aristotle)

‘If everyone is thinking alike then somebody isn’t thinking.’ - General George S. Patton
  • He calls it stupidity, I call it willful ignorance. It's complete acceptance of what's told to you without questioning or seeking your own knowledge.

Idiocracy has arrived .history goes in circles and here we are again.

It doesn't help that social media continuously provides a steady diet of junk and ignorance.

It's Ok if you're not smart enough to understand the truth, just don't be stupid enough to believe the lies. - Yogi Berra
  • @mikethespike7579
It could also be called lazy thinking. A lot of people are too lazy to form their own opinions, possibly because that would mean spending time informing them selves first. It's easier for them to just acquire the opinions of others.

Had the title of the video been "ARE YOU A GENIUS" it would've had millions of views by now. Not too many people feel like checking if they're stupid I guess.

Imagine what Bonhoeffer would think about the current state of stupidity, created by social media!!
  • @lv4077
Bon Hoffer was an outspoken Lutheran pastor. During World War II, he was held captive by the Nazis, and imprisoned for most of the war. He took the time to try to understand how such an advanced culture as was present in Germany before the Nazi takeover, with famous scientists philosophers, and enlightened scholars and thinkers could have gone so far off the rails so easily and quickly. He couldn’t understand why the German people became mesmerized with a message that seemed so counterintuitive to everything the German people represented. He finally decided there was no explanation except and unwillingness to face the truth. Unfortunately, he was killed by the Nazis in 1945 before the West had a chance to rescue him. Sadly, our society is suffering from that same mindless uncurious, unquestioning stupidity just as the German people were in the 1930s and 40s.

Holy smokes, 5 minutes of dude dropping TRUTH and knowledge! Vids like this should come with a disclaimer "Watching this or listening to this may cause you to re-examine your belief system"🤣
  • @stevoplex
We are all born ignorant. But it takes a lot of effort to get through life being stupid. (Mark Twain, approximately).
  • @rubbersole79
"It's hard to win an argument with a smart person. But it's damn near impossible to win an argument with a stupid person."
  • @kaila62kaila
The society rewards us for being stupid. The stupid survive and get a couple of goodies while free- and critical thinkers can be isolated, imprisoned, or worse. I'm a critical thinker but i definitely see the value of being "stupid" in this world.
