Jess Hull ran 3:50:83 today in Paris DL & she was 2nd. 😂 Athletes now have to be sure which event to choose & which event to ignore in this year Olympic

we all know marathon destroys your speed. Even Sifan has problems. Its not the same this time. All distances are super competitive. Kipyegon, Chebet for 1500 and 5000, Tsegay, Chebet 5000 and 10000. And for marathon we already have at least 3 more strong competitors. Unfortunately Sifan should focus her training and not doing everything all at once

Hassan's gait has become more asymmetric over the last couple of years - it now looks like she is running with a permanent limp and a dropped left shoulder.

To put it in to perspective, Courtney-Bryant would've got 14th in the Paris Diamond League's 1500m today. And Sifan Hassan would've got 18th. Shows the difference in quality.

It will be very hard to beat Goat Faith kipyegon in her current form. Maybe sifan should have chosen one distance for this years Olympics. 1500 to marathon it's too much.

Sifan should stick to the marathon. 😊
  • Everyone expresses the opinion that Hassan should focus on one (or maybe two) events in Paris if she wants the chance to win anything. While logical, Hassan has repeatedly stated that she has achieved what she wanted to achieve in her career. In numerous interviews she has expressed that she is now just having fun competing at a high level and aiming to win in everything possible. Maybe it will cause her to lose out on medals, but I say it also gives her the opportunity to fortify her name as the most versatile distance runner in history

No one knows if she is carrying a slight injury, has over trained, feels fatigued... and so on. Write her a letter and ask....you armchair experts....puhhh

Training for the marathon does not a super fast 1,500m make.
  • Can someone please tell me the name of this famous announcer? I hear him all the time on all these races for yeeeears, I just don’t know where to find his name. Forgive my ignorance please & thank you!
  • @kevmwash
Kipyegon is class class on her own
  • @Izzybizy9

What's so terrible about "losing"? A champion has a different mindset from the rest of us. We see a loss, but Sifan Hassan might well have been running the race to train for the possibility that the victor of a marathon in which she will participate is the one with the strongest finishing kick. Remember how Hassan won the London marathon?

Sifan just stay in the marathon please .... nothing for you really in the 1500 , 5000 and 10000
