there's also another large size diamond called Darya-y-Noor (Sea of Light) still in the Imperial Jewels museum in Tehran, Iran ... it's been a national property actually since the turn of the last century if not earlier ...

I cant even fathom paying millions of $ for a rock. Its crazy how expensive these all have become. They are beautiful, but seriously They are rocks. Its fascinating to me that they have so much worth.

DeBeers control the diamond market, they have secure warehouses full of diamonds & keep their price artificially inflated & high by carefully controlling their release into the market & the use of sleek advertising & psychology. It was DeBeers who convinced women they needed diamond engagement rings
