Some parents boycotted Seattle’s Seafair Torchlight Parade after a popular drill team was axed by organizers citing safety concerns. With the parade complete, FOX 13 took a look at the safety measures put in place and has response from parade goers.

    As an old seafair participant who experienced Seafiar parade activities and events for over 2 decades thru youth and a young adult. It's sad to see the kids affected by others (kids) wreckless behavior. Not long ago, it used to be,keep the grown-up stuff off the streets. This new generation has no boundaries. Smh! Stay safe...

    Police aren't being transparent, a few girls in the drill team have boyfriends in gangs, and those arrested with guns last Sunday were part of that situation.

    Hmm, traffic, no parking, homeless, arson, drug addiction. If you haven’t noticed the Pride parade and support for that community has co-opted many long standing local traditions. Why don’t supporters of that community support other communities. Come on down and share with everyone.
