i dont get how people think todays player are more skilled and talented?

There is a reason why Jordan had greatest respect for Hakeem. Now people can see why. They were both in their primes here. Hakeem's agility, quickness and timing for a center were out of this world.

Houston drafted Hakeem over Jordan and nobody ever gives them sh*t for it. That’s how good Hakeem was.

Hakeem was all day long in this game, wow what a phenomenal player.

how many players could block Micheal Jordan 4 times in one game? No one. The dream was the best ever

Wow! What a game! Imagine this being an NBA Finals game!
  • Olajuwon could guard Jordan but Jordan couldn't guard Olajuwon. Loved to see these beautiful classics!
  • @keyturner...
Olajuwon always proved why he was 1st picked overall ahead of Jordan..if I was a Rockets fan I wouldn't complain even if they passed up chance to get MJ.

I love the clean court. No crappy adds. No score box. just the players.
  • @Fair540
Pippen's full court 360 spin layup was pretty damn awesome.
  • @Goodguy1ful
Ive long considered both Hakeem and Mj to be as great as any players I've ever seen play

Rockets 5-1 against the Bulls from 1991-1993. That last block from Hakeem on Jordan’s three says it all.
  • @hectorlopez1069
That was a spectacular dunk by jordan when pippen missed it.

Hakeem’s the man! Down to earth too. I used to watch him train Emeka Okafor and other centers at the Lifetime Fitness in Sugarland, TX. This was early in the morning. He’d tell the small group of us fans that we could watch if we stayed quiet and respectful. And we did. Other times he played pick up basketball with us. He always teamed up with the least talented and we would still lose to his team. Thanks for the memories, Dream!
