Thursday marks start of another Northern California heat wave

Thursday is expected to mark the beginning of a heat wave in Northern California following recent days with temperatures either at or below average this time of year. Meteorologist Tamara Berg said this heat wave, a stretch of at least three days where temperatures reach triple digits, is forecast to last through the middle of next week. However, it won't be as oppressive as an earlier heat wave where temperatures reached the 110-degree mark.
